Park Geun-hye to attend People Power Party lawmakers' retreat for first time in over a decade

Former President Park Geun-hye will attend the People Power Party's National Assembly members' retreat in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on Thursday — her first appearance at an official party event in more than a decade. PPP lawmakers will hold the two-day retreat at Sono Calm Goyang starting Thursday. The gathering is intended to map out strategies for confronting the ruling party ahead of the regular legislative session and to strengthen internal party cohesion.
