Councilor Ed Flynn decries petty Boston City Hall politic amid veterans leadership snafu

A Facebook post, later taken down by Councilor Henry Santana, got tongues wagging in Boston by suggesting Councilor Ed Flynn, a U.S. Navy veteran and critic of the mayor, was stripped of his veterans committee vice chairmanship. Santana’s initial social media post, which was up all day Thursday and part of the day on Friday, per a source who shared a screenshot with the Herald, was advertising a Veterans, Military Families and Military Affairs committee hearing Santana is set to hold as chair of that Council committee this week.
