Bradford County man sentenced to decades in prison for sexual abuse against a minor

ULSTER, Pa. (WBNG) — A Pennsylvania man was sentenced on Thursday and faces nearly 70 years in state prison for crimes related to the sexual abuse of a child in 2024, according to the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office. Jesse Gallagher, 47, was sentenced on Thursday, Aug. 20, to 27 years and nine months to 63 years in state prison for the following charges: The sentencing stemmed from a jury trial back on January 23, 2026. During the trial, several victims testified about the abuse. Two of the people who testified claimed to be previous victims of Gallagher when they were children, the DA’s office said.
