Colombo, Aug. 25 (Daily Mirror) - The Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL), in a Special Determination petition filed before the Supreme Court challenging the constitutionality of the proposed Twenty-Second Amendment to the Constitution, has raised concerns over whether the extension of the tenure and related benefits proposed for sitting judges could amount to a “gratification” under the Anti-Corruption Act.
